This role is part of the Product, Design, and Marketing team for services including media products, creator tools, cloud and commerce services, and productivity apps. We're searching for a UX Writer to support the design of new and better experiences in our services through the lens of language.Key Qualifications:Has designed for every part of the user journeyAbility to write from scratch, edit existing copy, and think beyond the written word, while integrating input from many different team membersComfort developing nuanced solutions and working within existing patternsCan quickly reduce complex systems into coherent, compelling interface copyExperience working with design, product, engineering, marketing, localization and others to develop well-informed points of viewAbility to achieve business and growth needs without sacrificing excellenceWorking with designs in Figma/Sketch and creating functional specsCan prioritize multiple projects at onceRelevant Experience:Writing for UI and creating user experiences for apps: Onboarding, feature development, feature management & settings, feature educationAs a UX writer, you'll be responsible for:Building relationships with the product and with the product makersWriting within constraints to bring about the best possible resultsCollaborating with design to develop a messaging strategy and execute on designsPartnering with stakeholders on feature development, naming, and educationWorking with engineers to map out errors and edge casesWorking with the producer & writing manager to prioritize projectsWorking with other writers to ensure copy proposals are consistent across servicesSpending time with QA, legal, and localization teams to ensure your writing appears properly for every audienceEducation & Experience:8+ years in user experience design or writingBFA, BA, MA, MS, or MFABonus:Writing for entertainment services like music, podcasts, or media/social media appsExperience with subscriptions, plans, or other service based appsAbout Aquent Talent:Aquent Talent connects the best talent in marketing, creative, and design with the world's biggest brands.Our eligible talent get access to amazing benefits like subsidized health, vision, and dental plans, paid sick leave, and retirement plans with a match.
