VA Approved provider-Licensed Massage Therapist at Majestic Halos

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterans Affairs (VA) Approved Provider- Louisiana Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a professional who is knowledgeable in anatomy and physiology, with the ability to assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly. We are also seeking a therapist that is honest, reliable, and dedicated to their set schedule.

Duties

• Contract
• Prepare massage room prior to each appointment and at the end of each client.
• Assist with laundry
• Utilize medical terminology in communication with clients and healthcare professionals.
• 60 minute massages

Experience

• Must be a current VA Approved Licensed Massage Therapy Provider
• Graduate of state or national certificated school.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.

Physical Requirement

• Be able to sit, lift, squat, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
