Swim Varsity Assistant Coach at Ashland Public Schools

Ashland High School is seeking an assistant swim coach for the2025-26 season. Ashlands coaches are actively engaged in the community and embrace both the mission and values of the Athletic Department and APS School District.The role of the Swim Varsity Assistant Coach is to be responsible for coaching character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline sportsmanship and teamwork inswimming.This job requires you to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student athletes fellow coaches staff parents and community and well as follow the mission of the school. Positive communication strategies organizational skills and safety awareness are key requirements. TheVarsity Swim Head Coach reports to the Athletic Director.Requirements:Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the high school level or above is preferred.Good communication and organizational skillsAvailable to practice after school weekends and eveningsEstablish team goals team rules communicate these to all Commitment to programCPR/First Aid Certified Preferred Key Skills Campaigns,Data Entry,Christmas Temporary,Advocacy,Control Engineering Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
