Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting data analytics brand management marketing operational and macroeconomics Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.The US Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visas largest issuers in the United States. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities drive growth and improve profitability. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability strategic growth customer experience digital payments and managing risk.The VCA team is looking for a Manager to join our Risk practice and play a role in delivering high-impact projects and solutions for Visas clients in the North America region. Assigned engagements may relate to core risk management areas for card portfolio management including originations strategies underwriting fraud credit line management and collections. The Manager will also support practice leaders in business reporting drafting internal presentations sales materials case studies and with other duties as assigned.Specific Responsibilities:Lead client engagements across the credit risk lifecycleorigination underwriting portfolio management and collectionsensuring delivery of actionable solutions.Partner with senior stakeholders to define and implement strategies that balance growth with risk leveraging Visas data and analytics capabilities.Develop scalable approaches toolkits and best practices for underwriting line management and collections optimization.Champion and incorporate AI-driven solutions to enhance workflow and processes.Proactively identify opportunities to integrate analytics to enhance engagement offerings.Assess client programs against industry best practices identify gaps and deliver actionable recommendations for improvement.Work closely with sales marketing data science legal and global teams to deliver integrated credit risk solutions.This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications : Basic Qualifications5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhDRelevant experience at large management consulting firm financial institution or at a major card issuer focused on credit risk or related topicsExperience working with financial indicators to measure business performance. Significant focus on impacting ROIStrong analytical skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigorSelf-motivated results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrentlyKnowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or payment schemes including products & services business systems and processes marketing initiatives and card acquiring experienceExcellent communication story-telling and presentation skillsTeam playerTechnology mindset curious up-to-date with digital trends and applicationsAdditional Information : Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
