Job Description
Job DescriptionDPR Construction is seeking to fill a Virtual Design & Construction Project Manager. A successful candidate will lead development implementation and support of all VDC processes across the region.The primary objective for this individual is to support established VDC initiatives leveraged by project teams both in the office and field and supporting model-based project management process workflows and construction technology deployment for DPR business units.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for deployment of VDC initiatives and VDC technology platform(s) / solutionsTrain educate and mentor project personnel in various BIM software and processesWork with project teams to establish complete BIM/VDC execution strategy; Provide project specific VDC strategy at the onset and incorporate in BIM/VDC Execution PlanOversee project-specific VDC strategies scope and plans in addition to managing successful implementation of DPRs current best practices and high standards for predictable results and efficient VDC deliveryManage on-site construction team efforts in the implementation of VDC applications and processes in addition VDC deliverablesManage and support VDC Engineer(s) where neededAssist in strategic business roadmap development and in preparing the BIM/VDC portions of proposals and participating in interviews when appropriateProvide guidance and support with contract language for BIM scopes; develop preconstruction subcontractor procurement templates and exhibits for BIM/VDC buyoutOversee that each project is utilizing the Project VDC Execution Plan and adhering to the projects contractual requirementsContribute to KPIs and metrics to evaluate and assess value impact ROI of established VDC initiativesMonitor and track BIM specific metrics via the Dashboard or other tracking platformsHelp facilitate and set up projects with VDC ServicesBasic QualificationsWe are looking for a flexible detail-oriented individual that will relish performing in a fast-paced team-oriented environment with ability to multi-task produce quality deliverables and meet project-based deadlines. The successful candidate will possess: Ability to apply low risk management measuresEffectively manage and multi-task VDC operations and processes on 5 projectsTravel and have a flexible work scheduleCollaborate and understand complex processes and produce solutions to themLead and be ledUnderstand communicate and explain technical processes and programs to every day usersSpeak and present internally/externallyCreate and executing strategic plansAllocating resources and management of personnelHardware and technology platform adoption and integrationTraining and education of programs and processesTime/project managementCreation of visual graphics media and contentAdvanced understanding of design engineering and construction processesTechnical services such as UAVs laser scanning AR/VR etc.)Data management and exchange protocolsCloud computing and file server managementEducation & Technical QualificationsBachelors degree in Construction Management Architecture Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience in the building industryHave 5-7 years experience working Precon Operations or VDC-related role5-7 years in the field of design engineering or constructionIntermediate to Advanced level software knowledge in Autodesk packages (i.e.: Revit AutoCAD Navisworks etc.) and other platformsCore Company CompetenciesTake Care of PeopleDeliver ResultsFocus on customersImprove our businessCollaborateCommunicateInfluenceAction oriented - DoerDevelop yourselfLead teamAnticipated starting pay range:$137000.00- $235000.00Nothing is more important than your health and wellness.
