Job Description
Kocourek Ford is looking for a Vehicle Inventory &Title Specialist. The Vehicle Inventory & Title Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of vehicle title and registration paperwork. This includes ensuring that all documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner working with state agencies and assisting customers with title-related questions.Responsibilities but not limited to the following:Process and prepare vehicle titles and registration paperwork for both new and used vehicles.Verify accuracy of all vehicle documents including sales contracts and title transfers.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding title processing.Maintain an organized system for tracking titles and registration documents.Reviews documents for accuracy completeness and proper approvalWork closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth transactions.Handle title and registration issues and resolve any discrepancies.Ensures all inventory is posted to the general ledger timely accurately and within company guidelinesEnsures all auction sales are posted to the general ledger timely and within company guidelinesRecord Retention ensures various dealership documents and records are scanned into document management softwareProcess and distribute all paperwork on each retail deal along with preparing all contracts for funding and send to proper lending institutions.Deal Paperwork ComplianceOther DutiesMaintain a clean and organized office environmentOther duties as assigned by Accounting ManagerPerformance Measurement/ExpectationsAdhere to schedules and deadlinesThoroughness accuracy and timeliness in completing essential dutiesShares Kocoureks Core ValuesStrong attention to detail and sense of urgencyQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have excellent organizational skills along with clear written and oral communication skills. Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs. Ability to navigate around computer programs with efficiency. Physical DemandWhile performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products or supplies up to 20 pounds.Work EnvironmentTypical non-smoking office environment. Position operates in a professional office environment.
