Join us.About the Role:You will be responsible for:Carrying out analysis for engineering design trades and driving design decisions based on the resultsImplementing maintaining and improving software tooling in a variety of languages ranging from core simulation capabilities to peripheral analysis utilitiesMaintaining establishing and sometimes leading cross-functional collaboration with key teams across Vehicle EngineeringAbout You:2 years of experienceAn undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/MS/PhD) in Engineering Computer Science Physics or a related fieldPrior experience doing heavy cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environmentNotable modern programming language coding experience (e.g. Python Julia Rust C)Demonstrated experience in taking complex analysis results and clearly communicating conclusions and recommendations to facilitate rapid decision-makingFamiliarity with architectural design and analysis of launch vehicle or space systemsFamiliarity with trajectory design and optimizationNice to haves but not required:Experience working with advanced software development practices such as Docker Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and dependency managementPrior work in a startup or agile development environmentAt Relativity Space we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
