The intern will work closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to help shape the best strategies plans and tactics to maximize strategic advantage in PTCs businesses.Your Team:The Velocity Strategy & Executions mission is to drive the Velocity Group global strategic planning and execution efforts by developing and maintaining a cohesivelong-term strategy that creates sustainable competitive advantage. You will be a key contributor to this team and work closely with the Product Sales organizations and Business Segments Corporate Strategy & Development.Your Day-To-Day:Support Velocity Group initiatives and projects which shape strategies and drive growth opportunities. Intern project for the summer which you own and driven by your interest in the topicAnalyze markets and the participants within those markets to identify strategic growth opportunities for Onshape and ArenaEffectively create your own perspectives and communicate insightful analysis with clear messages and a fact-based point of viewGather validate and analyze information and perspectives from both internal and external sourcesSkills and knowledge most relevant to the job:CuriosityStrong research analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skillsPossess business acumen and be comfortable dealing with ambiguityExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to think both strategically and tactically with a persistent attention to detail and problem-solving mentalityPTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated average hourly rate for this position is $32/hour. This rate reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
