You may review modify or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions the Vendor Manager - Business Segment role supports and administers vendor management for a designated area or division. Ensures enterprise-wide needs for due diligence risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished and works to assess address and monitor business impacts of outsourced service relationships.Primary ResponsibilitiesActs a liaison for area/division in partnership with Corporate Procurement to manage vendor relationships associated with outsourced servicesIdentifies reports and tracks vendor third party risk issues and implements remediation plansEnsures compliance with expectations for due diligence risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are accomplishedOverseesdetailed reporting documentation requirements and processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of vendor-submitted surveys documents and deliverablesFacilitates contracts renewals in partnership with BusinessSegment Managers to ensure that contractualservice level agreementsare in alignment with the needs of the businessOversees requests for new vendor relationships and the submittal of Third Party Questionnaires (TPQ) in order to effectively assess and address operational reputational customer and shareholder impact information security and privacy risks process/policies and procedures impact staff impact regulatory impact and potential for financial lossManagesthird-party contract review and execution for business line in partnership with Corporate ProcurementFacilitates the resolution of escalated vendor-related issuesReviews exit plans and Service Organization Controls (SOC) reports as part of the TPQ processAttends Working Group meetings for complex critical or high-risk vendor relationshipsMay manage a team or group depending on area/divisionParticipates in and/or leads as appropriate the procurement process with vendorsManages the governance procurement and contract-related aspects of thebusiness segmentvendors in order to support corporate procurement and vendor management objectivesCommunicates educates andimplements a common and consistent approach to vendor management within the business segmentMakes recommendations as appropriate to correct deviations from established standards and objectivesCompletes critical vendor managements tasksMay lead the procurement process with vendorsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. RequirementsBachelors degree andfive (5)years vendor management experienceOr High School Diploma andnine (9)years vendor management experienceSkills and CompetenciesAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely mannerExcellent communication negotiation and influencing skillsExceptional organizational analytical and follow-through skillsProject management skillsProven ability to build relationshipsStrong knowledge of banking and regulations impacting business unit relationshipsThis position will also work with the business units leadership and Regions Finance to help ensure strategic alignment and accurate management of the MarComm budgets.This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidates qualifications and relevant experience.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience skills knowledge contribution job location and most importantly performance in the job role.
