We’re seeking a Hybrid Associate Veterinarian / Medical Director to join our client's thriving, modern small animal hospital in St. Louis, MO.

This unique role offers greater variety, engagement, and autonomy, combining clinical excellence with operational leadership in a highly respected, community-focused practice.

Well established 2-doctor team has built outstanding relationships within the local community and continues to grow.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, experienced group in a well-equipped, full-service general practice dedicated to high-quality small animal care, with the optional opportunity to see exotics.

Dental radiography

In-house diagnostic laboratory

Dedicated surgical suite

With a strong 3:1 veterinary technician-to-doctor ratio, you can focus on medicine and surgery, not administrative tasks or routine technical services.

🩺 Clinical Responsibilities:

Managing a varied caseload of consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries

Performing routine and advanced soft tissue procedures

🗓 Schedule

Mid-Week Only Role

Hospital Opening Hours:

Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 6:00pm

No after-hours on-call

💼 Compensation & Benefits

Base salary up to $150,000 (commensurate with experience)

$50,000 signing bonus

20% production bonus (no negative accrual)

3 weeks PTO plus public holidays

👩 ⚕️ What We’re Looking For

DVM or equivalent degree

Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Missouri

Strong surgical and general practice experience
