Mostimportantly, do you want to bring your dog to work every day?  Shiloh Veterinary Hospital is currentlylooking for an associate full-time Veterinarian to join our growingpractice!  We are located on the west endof Billings, MT—the largest city in Montana! If you love the outdoors along with a city that still has a small-town feel, we may be just the spot for you!Shiloh Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA-accredited generalcare hospital that practices progressive, compassionate medicine andsurgery.  We are committed to the higheststandards of care and expect at all times our clients and their pets to betreated as if they are family.   We offerinteresting, diverse, and challenging cases with manageable caseloads and astrong technician team to best support your medicine.  We have 30-minute appointment times to ensureexcellent client communication and education.  Some of the services we offer include:-soft tissue and orthopedic surgery-rehabilitation including laser therapy-abdominal and thoracic ultrasound-digital radiography-digital dental radiography-plus we see our share of exotics  We have an experienced doctor teamwho is eager to mentor new grads or DVMs looking to expand their knowledge ina new area!We have a close-knit team and focus on a positive culture sowe are looking for someone who values teamwork, can get along well withcoworkers, and has a heart for serving our clients and their pets.  We schedule to make sure our doctors and teamget a long lunch break—we all need a break from the day! We talk to our team about policy changes before they happen andencourage their feedback.  Our team isour priority.  We take excellent care ofthem so they can in turn take excellent care of our patients and clients.   We believe in our team.  We demonstrate this by giving them theopportunity to learn and grow.  How do weensure this happens?  We are closed everyWednesday for an hour to guarantee our team has time for training anddevelopment.  We also have snack drawers,pot lucks, Crumble Cookie deliveries, bad jokes, and time for puppy snuggleswhen the days get tough. We work together as a cohesive team, have the BESTclients, and truly enjoy what we do!  We believe in work/life balance and offer a schedule offour-9 hour shifts with rotating four-hour shifts on Saturdays.  All of our after-hour emergencies are referredto our sister hospital, Moore Lane Veterinary Hospital which means none of ourdoctors are ever on call.   To ensure ourdoctors have a strong work/life balance, we only schedule wellness exams fortheir last appointment before lunch and their last appointment at the end ofthe day.  Most days, our doctors areheaded home about 15 minutes after closing.  We care about our team and that shows in our benefitswhich include a competitive salary (our current doctors bring in around $115k-160k per year on a pro-sal model), CE allowance of $,1500 annually, and threedays paid, state and DEA licensing fees, enrollment into VIN, liability andmalpractice insurance, 401K with company match, generous portion of healthinsurance paid, and availability of dental and vision insurance among others.A little bit about Billings, MT:  If you love wide open spaces, you will loveour city!  We are located less than anhour away from the Beartooth Mountains with plenty of recreationalopportunities right in our backyard.  Wehave eight national parks in our state so four-day work weeks allow for plentyof time to explore them all!  We love ourbreweries and have eight local breweries right here in Billings.  If arts and culture are important to you, thenyou will love our three live theaters, four movie theaters, multiple live musicvenues, galleries, museums, and a variety of historical sites.  Do you have kiddos?  We have plenty to entertain them as well!  We have a zoo, indoor and outdoor waterparks, a variety of local sports leagues they can get involved in, an indoortrampoline park, a skate park, roller skating, and ice skating.  We are seeking an experienced veterinarian but motivated newgraduates are welcome to apply. Skills and Basic Qualifications:A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university.Licensure in good standing and able to obtain a Montana DVM license.Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills.Works collaboratively with hospital team members.Makes decisions confidently and effectively.Manages time and tasks appropriately.Models professional and courteous manner with staff and clients, supporting positive hospital culture.Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.National Veterinary Associates is a leading global pet care organization united in the love of animals and the people who love them.At NVA, we’re on a mission to improve the lives of pets and the people who love them.
