Job ResponsibilitiesBuilds rapport with clients by gatheringinformation and listening to, and empathizing with their concernsPerforms physical examinations anddiagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest qualitycare while minimizing patient stress and discomfortCommunicates with clients on topics such as petdiagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needsMaintains client/patient medical/surgicalrecords and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date throughestablished protocolsStays current on new medical information andchanges in veterinary medicineAssists in the development of theparaprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care andexceptional client servicePresents a positive image of the hospital in theprofessional community and to the general publicSkills and Basic Qualifications Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification programLicensure in good standing to practice in the state of Arizona (or in the state where currently licensed)Commitment to practicing the highest standard of veterinary medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethicsAbout YumaYuma has 300+ days of sunshine a year and is a greatdestination to enjoy outdoor activities.
