About us:The Greenwich Veterinary Center was founded in 1998. We firmly believe that pets are family members and deserve the very best in medical care. We have assembled a group of some of the finest veterinarians in Fairfield County along with a dedicated team of supporting staff. Our state-of-the-art pet hospital employs diagnostic and treatment equipment including digital radiology ultrasound an in-house laboratory a surgical suite and a dedicated dental suite. This equipment gives us the full-service capability to address all of your pets medical and surgical needs. We will also provide house calls for those patients who feel more comfortable being treated at home.QualificationsExperience as a veterinary technician or assistant.Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT RVT or LVT) preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not .ResponsibilitiesAssist veterinarians with exams treatments and surgical procedures.Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean organized work environment.What Makes Us DifferentReferral program join our team bring your friends and get paid!Career development and advancement opportunities.CE programs provided by AmeriVet at NO cost to you!Learn more about us at: AmeriVet were committed to your growth development well-being and success.
