We are currently accepting applications from experienced Veterinary Technicians and Assistants. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic be self-motivated and be a strong team player. We are a busy growing clinic and we depend on our caring compassionate and reliable staff to create a positive experience for our clients and patients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Helping doctors with physical examinationsClient communication and educationDispensing medicationsHelping position patients for radiographsProvide nursing and comfort care for hospitalized petsPerforming treatments collecting samples (blood/urine/feces) and processing laboratory diagnostic testsHelp to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facility Job Requirements: Veterinary Technician credentials not required but preferredMust be able to lift 50lbs bend/kneel throughout the day and stand for extended periods of timeMust be comfortable with the proper restraint of dogs and catsMust be accountable punctual and show up for work with a can-do positive attitudeMust have a passion for excellence in animal careMust have a flexible schedule with availability on weekends and some holidaysMust be receptive to training with a positive team attitude We are trying to build a stable solid team. Experience is preferred but someone with a good work ethic and desire to succeed is strongly considered. Dedication punctuality willingness to learn and being a team player are MOST IMPORTANT!
