Job Description

Location: Urbana OHJob Title: Assembler 3rd ShiftRittal is a leading global provider of solutions for industrial enclosures power distribution climate control and IT infrastructure as well as software and services. We design and manufacture the worlds leading industrial and IT enclosures racks and accessories including high-efficiency high-density power management and climate control systems for industrial data center outdoor and hybrid applications.Primary Activities/Duties:Assemble components and products according to work instructions blueprints and specifications.Use hand tools power tools and other equipment to complete assembly tasks.Perform visual checks to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.Package finished products and prepare them for shipment or further processing.Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6-S and safety standards.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Ability to stand walk bend twist and reach frequently throughout the shift.Lift 2550 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above shoulder level.Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing assignments.Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams in English.Basic computer skills; ability to learn and use software systems as needed.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Safety Requirements:Wear safety-toed footwearSafety glasses with side shieldsHearing protectionOther PPE as required.Knowledge & Experience:High school diploma or GED preferred.Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.Familiarity with hand tools measuring equipment and basic mechanical skills.Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is helpful.Work Environment:Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures dust and noise.If you require reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or hiring process due to a disability you may contact the companys Human Resources Department at .This option is reserved for individuals who require accommodation due to a disability.Rittal LLC and Eplan are proud to be an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
