Visiting Associate or Full Professor of Music (Ballet) at Indiana University Academic Positions

Position SummaryThe Jacobs School of Music seeks applicants for a visiting full-time faculty position in the Ballet Department for the 2025-26 academic year (August 1 2026 to May 31 2027). The successful candidate will possess demonstrable strengths as a performer and choreographer will be able to work effectively with faculty colleagues and will be able to inspire gifted students in a highly competitive and professionallyoriented educational environment. Responsibilities include teaching ballet technique pointe virtuosity variations and both contemporary and classical ballet partnering (team-taught with a colleague) for all ballet majors; staging and coaching ballets for the IU Ballet Theater; choreographing new works for IU Ballet Theater and IU Opera Theater productions; and teaching select classes for the upper level of the Jacobs Academy Ballet Program.
