Job Title: System Administrator Location: Glendale CA Employment Type: Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator with expertise in VMware Cisco networking Microsoft Windows Server OS Cisco UCS Tintri storage and Dell IDPA backup systems. The ideal candidate will also provide proactive end-user support ensuring seamless operation across infrastructure components and business systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure including vSphere ESXi hosts and vCenter servers. Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policies etc. Configure monitor and maintain Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System) infrastructure. Handle Cisco network devices (switches routers firewalls); manage routing VLANs and overall network performance. Monitor and maintain Tintri storage systems for optimal availability and performance. Oversee Dell IDPA (Integrated Data Protection Appliance) backup and recovery processes ensuring data integrity and compliance. Provide Level 2/3 support to end users for desktop application and infrastructure-related issues. Patch management server updates and security compliance checks. Assist in infrastructure upgrades documentation and disaster recovery planning. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience). 5 years of experience in a System Administrator or similar role. Proven expertise with: VMware vSphere / ESXi Cisco Networking (LAN/WAN VPNs Routing Switching) Microsoft Windows Server OS (2012/2016/2019) Cisco UCS Tintri storage systems Dell IDPA backup appliances Strong problem-solving troubleshooting and documentation skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
