Here they learn how it feels to be in the workplace participate in events and become a valuable member of our team.Roles & responsibilities include: Fulfilling Volunteer Enhancements:Assist in the creation of volunteer opportunities on our internal volunteer and giving portal Community HubCoordinate transportation catering security facilities etc. as needed for eventsManage maintain and organize volunteer and giving projects and program suppliesAssist with day-to-day operations including communication with team members nonprofit partners Facilities teams etc.Team Member Giving Support:Assist the Senior Program Manager of Giving in the coordination of Rocket Community Challenge including communication with nonprofit partners team members etc. throughout the campaignAssist the Senior Program Manager of Giving in the coordination of School Supplies Drive planning and implementationOnsite Assistance:Serve as an on-site contact for various in-person volunteer opportunitiesCheck-in team members and provide directionAdditional Responsibilities:Administrative assistance including research and reports on new and existing nonprofit organizations scheduling meetings and miscellaneous duties as assignedLearn about our business by attending meetings huddles and trainingsShare creative ideas that will help improve our businessAssist in creating materials and/or presentations for meetingsTake notes during meetings and provide recapsTechnology and Resource Knowledge Microsoft Office SuiteSalesforce (can be learned on the job)YourCause (can be learned on the job)Workday (can be learned on the job)Intern Requirements:Previous work or volunteer experience in event planning or with a nonprofitWorks well in fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and highly organizedExcellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal written and presentation)DisclaimerThis is an outline of the primary responsibilities of this position.
