Known for excellence and professionalism were hired as strategic and creative partners by our biopharmaceutical clients to drive category/brand awareness and growth.Position OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned VP Client Services to lead account management excellence for BGBsnew business pitch and growth-focused initiatives. This senior leader will serve as the operational and strategic backbone for pitch delivery partnering with strategy and creative leadership to drive new business success shape early client relationships and ensure a seamless transition from pitch to onboarding.The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare expertise strong operational rigor and exceptional relationship-building skills. They thrive in high-pressure fast-moving environments and excel at orchestrating teams aligning stakeholders and driving clarity through complexity. This leader will represent Account Management during pitches and early engagements championing operational readiness excellence in delivery and a solutions-oriented mindset that strengthens BGBs reputation and ability to win.Specific ResponsibilitiesNew Business Leadership & Pitch ManagementServe as the Account lead for new business opportunities driving structure clarity and alignment across pitch teams.Partner with Business Development and strategic/creative leaders to shape pitch strategy narrative flow and delivery excellence.Oversee pitch logistics timelines and workflows to ensure seamless execution and exceptional presentation quality.Client Engagement & Relationship BuildingAct as a senior client-facing representative during pitches early-stage meetings and onboarding conversations.Build strong rapport with prospective clients and establish trust that carries into long-term relationships.Translate client needs challenges and expectations into clear action plans for cross-functional teams.Strategic & Operational LeadershipEnsure alignment between strategic insight creative vision medical accuracy and operational feasibility during pitches.Identify risks anticipate client questions and proactively shape solutions that demonstrate preparedness and partnership.Support pipeline planning opportunity evaluation and scoping in collaboration with Business Development and Agency Leadership.Cross-Functional Team ManagementLead and inspire pitch teamsincluding account strategy creative digital and project managementensuring collaboration and cohesion.Serve as the operational integrator who ensures all disciplines are connected informed and working toward a unified pitch narrative.Oversee project flows and resource planning for pitch efforts.Transition to EngagementOwn the handoff from pitch to onboarding ensuring a seamless experience for new clients and internal teams.Partner with discipline leads to establish early workstreams expectations and operating rhythms for newly won business.Thought Leadership & Growth EnablementStay ahead of healthcare industry trends competitive dynamics and engagement best practices to inform pitch strategies.Support the evolution of BGBs account management frameworks tools and processes to strengthen new business performance.Contribute to ongoing capability development and agency-wide operational effectiveness.Team Leadership & DevelopmentMentor account management talent elevating operational discipline communication skills client leadership and collaboration.Model the behaviors and leadership qualities expected of senior account leads across the agency.Preferred QualificationsExperience12 years in healthcare advertising or marketing including significant experience leading client engagements and cross-functional teams.Experience driving new business pitches or leading early-stage client engagements is highly preferred.Skills & ExpertiseDeep understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical landscape including regulatory considerations and market nuances.Exceptional communication presentation and relationship-building skills.Strong operational mindset with expertise in project management workflow planning and resource coordination.Ability to navigate ambiguity manage complexity and drive teams toward clarity and action.LeadershipProven ability to mentor teams cultivate talent and foster a collaborative high-performance environment.Skilled at inspiring confidence and alignment across internal and external stakeholders.EducationBachelors degree required.Salary Range:$175000 - $225000 base salary bonus eligibilityThe salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit including experience (both direct and indirect) education training demonstrated qualifications and organizational need.
