Runwise is looking for a highly motivated results-oriented Warehouse Associate who iseager to learn.Runwise () is a fast-paced customer-focused climate-tech startup that controls and runs the key energy systems (heating water etc) in 7000 buildings throughout the US. Runwises unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today Runwises technology takes the equivalent of 100000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year.THE ROLEAs a Warehouse Associate at Runwise you will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of departments including Field Operations Scheduling Onboarding and Logistics. You will be responsible for operating warehouse operations tasks for the field operations team and ensure that the organization has the resources it needs to operate effectively. You will work closely with the Warehouse Inventory Lead on picking and packing receiving and stowing cycle counting assembling hardware and more.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Carry materials and tools around the shop for picking packing and storagePicking and packing install and service call bags and replenishing tech lead van stockMaintain organization and cleanliness of the shop storage racksAssemble hardwareUpload firmware to our devicesWho you are:You are based in the New York City areaWilling and able to work overtime as neededAbility to work alone and with other employeesWillingness to learn and expand technical skills and knowledge in electronics.Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with all levels at RunwiseHigh attention to detailWork cross-functionallyRequirements:2 years of inventory-related or equivalent experienceHigh School diploma or GED.Preferred Skills:Experience with electronics (e.g. basic circuits soldering component assembly assembling kits etc.)Background working with small electronic components due to our work handling technical products conducting technical checks and audits and repairing small devicesRunwise is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
