DescriptionPosition at JBS USAJBS is seeking an hourly Production Team Member! This position starts at $22.50 per hour.Benefits IncludePaid vacation and holidays Medical dental and vision benefits 401(k) planBetter Futures ProgramCareer development opportunities Position Description:Supporting operations by arranging products on pallets packing items and pulling items based on customer orders staging products for production and staging product to load for outbound shipments.Requirements:Understand packing specificationsUnderstand Food Safety GMP SSOP requirementsMonitor package integrity quality standardUnderstand product handling into appropriate machinesYour duties will include pulling packing and sorting items for shipping and receiving. (load pack wrap label ship)Issue materials out to respective departmentsWeigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.Pull pack and ship orders in an accurate manner under FIFO guidelines and SOP.Organize stocks and maintain inventories quality standards high for audits. Inspect goods for defects and damages prior shipment or reception.Moving pallets by hand hand truck electric pallet jack or manual pallet jack.Operate safely power material handling equipment.Track inventory in appropriate system.Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties as needed.Ensuring correct and complete labels are attached to WIP or finished goods materials.Record selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating proceduresMaintain 5 S standard within area responsibility.Maintain high standard personal safety behavior.Follow HACCP and GMP guidelines.Comply with safety rules guidelines.Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.Insure proper documentation in all assigned task are performed.Completes reports by entering required information.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededAdditional duties and tasked to be assigned as neededQualifications Constant walking and or standingUse of hands to fingersReach with hands and armsLift up to 80-90 lbs.Vision capabilitiesTalk/hearSpecific Equipment: Forklift Powered Industrial Trucks Pallet JacksWork Environment The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures.
