Warehouse Helper

We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Helper responsible for safely loading, unloading, and staging inventory in shipping trucks and containers. You will move inventory manually or with machinery from incoming trucks to storage, and from storage onto outgoing trucks, ensuring seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload inventory onto trucks and containers.
• Move inventory manually or using machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Scan, count, and verify items against shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to safety protocols when handling fragile, heavy, or hazardous materials.
• Maintain a tidy loading area and organize goods in trailers to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain records of daily shipping and receiving activities and report any damage.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using RF scanners and order pulling equipment.
• Experience in general labor, packing, loading, and unloading.
• Ability to lift heavy items (often 50+ lbs), bend, and stand for long periods.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a warehouse worker is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Environment

The work environment includes an open bay area ventilated with fans. The role requires working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with additional hours as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Medley, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
