JOB DESCRIPTION

Description:

Puget Sound Pipe is a premier wholesale distributor of pipe, valves and fittings in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska. We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to fill the Warehouse Lead position at our Spokane, WA location. This person would primarily be responsible for safely and accurately receiving and stocking material, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining an organized warehouse. Occasionally, the person hired for this position may also need to make deliveries in one of our company vehicles.


Hired candidates will be working onsite at the branch location. There is no relocation assistance available.

Warehouse Lead starting at $22.00-$26.00/hour depending on experience.

Basic Duties:

  • Perform daily cycle counts and manage inventory
  • Ensure freight logs are completed daily
  • Shipping and receiving of materials
  • Supervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operations
  • Coordinate general maintenance of warehouse machinery
  • Inspect condition of tools and equipment
  • Enforce company policies and regulations
  • Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of products
  • Communicate and coordinate with the sales team
  • Comfortably lift 50+ pounds of material


Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Positive Attitude
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Basic understanding of commercial and industrial pipe, valves and fittings
  • Knowledge of RF warehouse system


Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or equivalency
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Pass Background Check
