Our newer Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) facility in Clayton NC sits on 825000 square-feet of state-of-the-art equipment and houses the Fermentation Recovery and Purification in the production of ingredients for Novo Nordisks innovative oral products. Are you ready to realize your potential Join Team Novo Nordisk and help us make what matters.The PositionPerform all aspects of warehousing requirements for NNPII regarding the General Warehouse & Cold Storage functioning as part of a high-performance work team.RelationshipsReports to Manager Supply Chain & Logistics Support.Essential FunctionsFollow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesInventory Control of newly received components/materials to include placing in locationsMaterial requisitions & staging area replenishmentPhysical & system transfers of semi-finished & finished productPull Samples upon requestPhysical inventory to include cycle counts & annual inventory countsLook-up & reorder of inventory & plant suppliesPreparation & shipping of finished productLoad/unload trailersSystem knowledge in Prism/AS400/SAP. Utilization of system transactions to transfer material & inventory adjustmentsDaily inspections of the forklifts warehouse cold rooms & freezerMaintain up to date training statusPhysical RequirementsMoves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. Routinely operates & inspects manufacturing equipment using hands. Strap & unstrap pallets using hands. Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting and standing) 50% of the time. May require corrected vision to 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. Handles transport of hazardous materials. Occasionally performs critical job functions in extremely cold work environments. Ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protection. Able to pass a driving exam for powered industrial trucks. Does not require a valid drivers license.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to read write legibly & understand all department documentation requiredTraining or experience to demonstrate an understanding of the risks inherent to the processing handling & storage of hazardous materials requiredMinimum 1 yr. warehouse experience preferably in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industry preferredBasic math skills including knowledge of metric system preferredComputer competencies required basic Microsoft knowledge: Outlook Power point & Word; experience with a computerized inventory system such as SAP a plus preferredGood written & verbal communication skills preferredTraining or experience to demonstrate an understanding of the risks inherent to the processing handling & storage of hazardous materials preferredAbility to operate stand-up & sit-down forklifts preferredGood organizational skills.
