General SummaryUnder general supervision this role is primarily responsible ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products within the companys warehouse. This role facilities the receiving storing and shipping of products or materials. Warehouse operators are responsible for maintaining inventory levels ensuring the safety of the workers and products and managing the physical organization of the position will train on 1st shift for 30 - 90 days then transition to 2nd shift hours.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesHandling of materials to and from productionEnsuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant documentationStoring and rotating stock according to established proceduresAccurate relabeling of productsReporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Supervisors or ManagerKeeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipmentFollowing workplace health and safety rules when handling goodsAssisting with inventory counting or consolidation Activity to be completed with a mix of MHE and manual liftPrimary use of RF Scanners with some system navigation requiredAny additional tasks assigned as necessaryKnowledge Skills & AbilitiesAbility to read write and speak English.Must have experience with Excel using and maintaining spreadsheet data.Experience utilizing ERP/WMS systems required preferred use of SAP/EWMMust have the ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure.Must be able to multi-task in a high paced high intensity environment.Possess ability to adapt in different circumstances and communicate changes clearly.These characteristics are normally acquired through a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of three years related experience in Shipping/Receiving/WHSE or Inventory Control.MHE Certification preferredDOT Certification preferredWorking Conditions & Physical DemandsWorking environment is generally favorable in the warehouse settings. Lighting temperature and noise levels are adequate in Oterra setting but may require additional accommodations when working in the warehouse. A portion of the job will take place in cooler and freezer environments for which adequate PPE will be provided. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to have good mobility and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
