Job Description

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Person (12:30PM-9:00PM) to assist with shipping receiving parts inventory and walk-in customers. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational and customer service skills to help support our growth.Responsibilities:Fill and prepare orders for shipment and to inventoryReceive parts and backorder partsFill orders with materials from stock locationsHelp manage bin and parts locations to verify inventory recordsAddress any discrepancies in parts inventoryDetermine the proper mode of transportation for parts shipmentAssess equipment tools and environment to ensure workplace and warehouse are free of hazards and are in complianceLoad and unload cargo using forkliftsPerform counter sales and answer phones as necessaryBuild hydraulic hoses and maintain hose benchWork collaboratively on a teamQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredExcellent customer service skills2 years warehouse experiencePersonal characteristics: Dependable attention to detail positive attitude efficient team player and problem solverBasic computer skillsAble to maintain clean and safe work environmentExperience in diesel engine heavy equipment agriculture or automotive a plusThis role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirementMinimum physical requirements:Push/pull up to 10 lbsLift/carry up to 50 lbsLift bulky objectsStanding walking using hands talking hearing neck rotation trunk rotation stair climbing ladder climbing repetitive bending kneeling sustained squat forward reaching overhead reaching supine overhead reaching crawling bin lift high steps fingering/grasping able to use bolt box.Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicants location.
