Warehouse Worker

As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities. Your main responsibilities will include verifying part marks and quantities against shipping paperwork, electronically processing transactions with our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and ensuring parts are packaged following Material Handling Guidelines. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S methodology and all safety principles.

Responsibilities:

• Verify part mark stamps and quantities against receipt/shipping paperwork.
• Electronically process transactions using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and stage items on designated carts/racks.
• Package parts according to Material Handling Guidelines and kitting requirements.
• Maintain adherence to 5S requirements within personal work area and area of responsibility.
• Comply with all safety guidance and principles.

Essential Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience, with warehouse experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Assertive communication skills with the ability to delegate orders.
• Problem-solving skills regarding order status.
• Ability to multitask under time constraints and in fast-paced situations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Forklift and reach truck operation.
• Experience using RF (bar-code scan) devices preferred.
• Leadership experience is a plus.

Work Environment:

You will work in a warehouse setting with varied shifts available: AM/PM, four different shifts. The available shift schedules are Sunday to Tuesday from 6 AM to 6 PM and Wednesday to Saturday from 6 AM to 6 PM. Tasks include shipping and receiving, picking, inventory management, and using equipment such as pallet jacks. The environment is fast-paced, and employees are encouraged to maintain a neat and organized workspace.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
