Job Title: Warehouse Worker Location: Tallahassee, FL Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 61148 Department Facilities - MaintenanceResponsibilities Receives materials, via vendor delivery, and reviews purchase order to verify purchase and delivery of requested materials. Offloads deliveries and verifies against the vendor packing list and purchase orders. Operates forklift to move, store, and retrieve warehouse inventory. Issues warehouse inventory, fills material requests such as repair/constructions materials, plumbing, AC, and carpentry supplies and materials.Documents receipt and disbursement of materials by entering data in AiM. Materials include fuel deliveries which are entered in FuelMaster Plus.Stages special orders in designated warehouse space and tracks the release of these materials. Maintains a listing of all materials in the staging phase. Receives and distributes uniforms for shops. Assists with annual and periodic inventory activities. Operates University vehicles as needed Participates in reviews purchase orders to verify purchase and delivery requested material off loads deliveries.May serve as backup to warehouse staff and receive deliveries and provide assistance as required assuming responsibility for the management of the warehouse as well as operating Fuel Master. Receives and assist with disposal of hazard waste materials and collection programQualifications High school diploma or equivalency.
