By working closely with our clients from the planning phase onward we are able to supply the most cost-effective methods that meet their logistics needs.Through this drive to bring solutions to our clients we have grown from an agency-only service provider to a full scale international 3-PL providing our own courier routes trucking warehousing freight sortation and management labor oil & gas project assistance and consulting.Now 30 years after we began we have more than 300 employees working across Alaska Canada Hawaii Washington Nevada Texas Georgia and Florida around the clock to provide our signature custom service to hundreds of long-standing clients.Pay Range:$19 - $22 per hourBenefits:401(k) with company matchLife insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramHealth insuranceVision InsuranceDisability insuranceDental insurancePaid time offVoluntary Accident insuranceDuties and Responsibilities:Load and unload freight load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers as well as collect empty pallet boards and carry them to storage. Process and document all shipments maintain packing and crate supplies and ensure the yard and warehouse remain clean and organized.Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology (RF scanners).Safely operate a forklift after we provide you with training and you acquire certification.Receive and distribute product and assist in weekly product inventory.General housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as the need arises (e.g. you may be asked to sweep the floor help clean a trailer take out the trash etc.)Lift objects that weigh anywhere between 15 pounds and 50 pounds (i.e. anything from a bowling ball to a twin-size mattress) with or without reasonable accommodation.Load and unload the vehicle.Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.Report safety security and theft incidents.Ensure compliance with customer information and security requirements.Demonstrate internal and external customer service.Other warehousing duties as assigned.Qualifications:HS Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse.Knowledge of transportation and warehousing industry is preferred.Forklift experience required; certification a plus but not required.Must be reliable and flexible with schedule.Ability to work independently and lift up to 50lbs.Able pass a background check and drug and alcohol screening.Customer service oriented friendly helpful and professional disposition.Ability to work in a fast paced and always changing environment.Legal status to work in the USA.Able to speak conversational English.Physical Requirements:The work requires routine walking standing bending and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds will be done using team lift.
