Waste Water Operator (Days) at Foster Farms

Rate: $21.00/hourOperate maintain performance of waste water plant to the highest level. Keep all equipment clean (e.g. DAF cells assorted pumps and valves conveyors and mechanical drive components) associated with the waste water treatment facility.Make adjustments as needed to wastewater to make cleanest possible water.Take weekly inventory and order chemicals as needed.Interact with City officials in a professional manner.Calibration to Flume and PH sensorsWork with outside technicians and/or vendorsWork with maintenance on troubleshooting equipmentResponsible for keeping the roof clean from sludge overflowResponsible for reporting any discrepanciesQualifications : 1. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.2. Must be able to work from a ladder.3. Must be able and willing to work rotating schedules holidays and weekends. be able to stand for prolong periods of time on concrete / metal grate floors. 5. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to lead crew of pool sanitation people on weekends. 6. Must be able to interact positively with Plant Production and Maintenance personnel to resolve maintenance issues. Additional Information : 1. Other duties as assigned.2. General cleaning and / or assisting other crews if required.3.
