We are currently seeking a skilled Water Utilities Operations Lead to join our team in Meridian, MS. If you have experience in water/wastewater treatment operations and a Plant Operator license, we invite you to apply.ResponsibilitiesPlant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the water treatment plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and optimal efficiency.Process Monitoring: Monitor and adjust water treatment processes, including chemical dosing, filtration, and disinfection, to maintain water quality within specified parameters.Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and instrumentation, to ensure reliable and efficient operation.Data Recording: Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including water quality data, equipment performance, and maintenance activities.Emergency Response: Respond to and manage emergency situations, such as equipment failures or water quality issues, implementing corrective actions promptly.QualificationsLicense: Class 3 or 4 Water and Wastewater Operator licenses issued by the relevant regulatory authority.Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional coursework or training in water treatment is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a water/wastewater plant operator, as well as experience leading a team.Technical Skills:Proficient in operating and troubleshooting water treatment plant equipment.Knowledge of water treatment principles, regulations, and standards.Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, report on plant operations, and interact with regulatory agencies.Why Join Our Team We know work isn't only about what you do, it's also about who you work for and with!
