At Verdantas your career goes beyond the expected and your work helps build a better world.Ready to shape the future of resilient communitiesOur Water /Wastewater Practice is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of a Water Wastewater Engineer II to work in our Newport Oregon office on various water and wastewater projects providing planning design permitting and operations related consulting services. Projects may also include site development and general civil engineering infrastructure projects.What Youll Do:Assist engineers with a variety of water and wastewater system assignmentsField investigations required to support design/study assignmentsKnowledge and research of regulatory/permitting requirementsPreparation of permit applicationsSupport design efforts associated with linear and water/sewer facility projects.Research and evaluate processes and equipmentAssist with the Preparation of Technical Studies and ReportsAssist with Project SpecificationsPerform financial analyses cost estimatingInterface with clients regulatory officials and contractors as requiredAttendance at client or public meetings if requestedWhat Youll Bring:B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering or a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on water/wastewater requiredE.I.T. Preferred PE a Plus2-5 years experience working in the field of Civil or Environmental Engineering.
