The primary focus of this instruction is to prepare students for ASE certification by instructing on safety concepts while demonstrating skills and knowledge related to Engine Performance and Hybrid and Electrical Vehicles.Job RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 5 years of industry experience and be familiar with ASE certifications A8 and L3. Additionally, strong communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills are essential. While teaching experience is preferred, candidates with relevant industry certifications will also be considered. Join our team and contribute to the education and development of future automotive professionals!PHYSICAL DEMANDS:This position involves a light to medium level of physical effort which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:Hear/talk/communicate – Must be able to exchange information and communicateVisual Acuity/ability to perceive or detect surroundingsMental acuity – Able to focus, concentrate, understand and convey subject matterRepetitive motion (i.e., keyboarding)Stand/sit/walk/able to move or traverse from one area to anotherWORK ENVIRONMENT:College campus, direct contact with students, staff, faculty and the general public in classrooms, common areas, offices and campus environments. Work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as office, meeting, and training rooms.
