Job Description
We are seeking skilled and/or certified Welders who are looking for a new career opportunity to utilize and expand their skill set.
Responsibilities Include the following:
- Produce consistent, high-quality welds and pass fillet weld tests to meet production standards
- Operate and setup welding fixtures and minor machines including overhead cranes, forklifts, and hydraulic presses
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and basic weld symbols, identifying various materials to employ the correct welding process
- Set up fixtures and welders without supervision, following objectives set by the Foreman while maintaining steady workflow
- Identify acceptable welds and recognize suspected problems within a process, alerting supervisors when necessary to maintain high standards
- Perform routine robotic tasks such as TCP checks and wire changes while assisting with basic machine maintenance
- Proven experience in a welding role with an intermediate understanding of the welding trade
- Proficiency in setting up welding equipment and the ability to convert fractions to decimals using a chart
- Intermediate knowledge of fabrication drawings and the ability to accurately read weld symbols and measurements
- A strong commitment to following occupational health and safety policies and proper use of PPE
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining dependable, punctual, and adaptable member of the team
- Physically capable to stand for long periods of time and consistently lift 50+ pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to show proof of eligibility to work in the .
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 6:30am - 3:00pm & Friday: 5:00am - 1:30pm Pay Range: $20-$23/HR plus depending on experience
