Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Structural WelderTRAVEL Pay: up to $35/hr and $133 per diem Position is located in Newport News, Virginia.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Structural Welder with over 5 years of commercial or naval experienceResponsibilitiesPerform tack, fillet, and full penetration welding on steel foundations and structural and pipe joints.Utilize Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) techniques.Work on production projects for aircraft carriers and submarines.Essential Skills5+ years of experience as a first-class structural welder in a commercial or naval setting.Proficiency in SMAW and FCAW welding processes.Strong ability to work with steel foundations and structural and pipe joints.Why Work Here?Join a team that values your skills and provides an opportunity to work at one of the largest shipbuilding companies in the world.
