JOB DESCRIPTION

Machinist III

Job Title: Machinist III - $26-$35/hr

Job Description - 1st Shift

As a Machinist III, you will operate manual machinery to support production and repair of various compressor and engine parts. You will maintain safe work practices while assisting the Service Shop team. You will also be responsible for the safety of operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting the wastewater system daily. This role involves performing all aspects of sampling, testing, and monitoring wastewater to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws governing the wastewater treatment process.

Responsibilities

  • Machine parts to specifications using tools such as manual lathes and milling machines.
  • Understand and operate the wastewater recycle treatment system according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform and document various tests required to complete the wastewater treatment process daily.
  • Ensure the work area is clean and free of safety hazards in accordance with OSHA standards.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school or institution.
  • 2 years of experience in manual machining, lathe, and mill experience in oil & gas, power, or heavy equipment.
  • Completion of RCRA and HAZWOPER training.
  • Advanced knowledge of precision measuring tools such as dial, ID mics, depth mics, and ball mics.
  • Certification to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and crane.
  • Vo Tech Certificate.

Welder

Job Title: Welder - $26-$32/hr

Job Description - 1st Shift

The Welder will support manufacturing operations by performing work involving a high degree of precision and the use of hand welding equipment. This role requires proficiency in various welding processes and responsibilities include cleaning turbocharger rotors and internal components, measuring rotor components, and fabricating turbocharger stands for shipment. Additionally, balancing rotating assemblies is part of the job scope.

Responsibilities

  • Use templates, jigs, blueprints, and other guides to repair, modify, and fabricate parts.
  • Operate hand tools to cut, drill, bore, tap, ream, shape, and grind materials.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and tools or equipment are not damaged.
  • Manage metals to prevent distortion or burns, meeting required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Perform welds that meet high standards of radiographic, ultrasound, and magnetic particle testing.
  • Set-up, troubleshoot, and operate welding machines based on job specifications.
  • Preheat and weld metal components as specified by blueprints and job specifications.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick techniques) in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $72800.00/yr.
