Job Title: Welder (MIG/TIG)

Location: Almont, MI
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Pay: $18 - $25 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

Legacy Metal Services is seeking skilled and dependable Welders to join our 1st shift team. This role is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using MIG and/or TIG welding techniques while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on a variety of metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment
• Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality specifications
• Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding
• Follow all safety protocols and welding standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience (MIG and/or TIG required)
• Ability to read blueprints and measurements accurately
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Welding certification is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Commitment to safety and quality
