Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The position is for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a welder/fabricator in a small shop setting.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately, as blueprint reading is essential.
• Create custom metal pieces, ranging from 200 of a certain piece to 20 of 15 different SKUs.
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.

Essential Skills:

• Fabrication
• Blueprint reading
• MIG welding
• Welding and fitting
• Use of a tape measure
• Assembly and hand tool proficiency

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
• Understanding of engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to handle physical workloads.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are crucial.

Work Environment:

The work is conducted in a small, non-temperature-controlled shop located in Nesbit. The environment fosters learning and teamwork, with a casual dress code.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hernando, MS.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
