JOB DESCRIPTION

Fabrication Welder

We are seeking a skilled Second Shift Welder to join our fabrication team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality welding, layout, cutting, and assembly work in accordance with drawings, specifications, and code requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of producing consistent, code-compliant welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality welding, layout, cutting, and assembly work.
  • Ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, and code requirements.
  • Produce consistent, code-compliant welds.
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including coupling and tubesheet welders.
  • Maintain productivity standards and commit to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in fabrication and welding, including Mig and Tig welding.
  • Ability to qualify under ASME Section VIII & IX welding codes.
  • Code-qualified in shop welding procedures for carbon steel, stainless steel, and stainless-to-carbon applications.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, tolerances, and welding symbols.
  • Open Root experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds.
  • Experience with torch cutting and inspection.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Work Environment

This role operates on the second shift from 3:30 PM to midnight in a clean and well-lit environment. All tools and PPE are supplied, ensuring a safe and productive workspace.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, NY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $31.95 - $31.95/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
