Summary: Experienced welder/fabricator to join a busy shop. Work includes reading blueprints, cutting, forming, welding, assembling and finishing metal components and structures.

Summary: Experienced welder/fabricator to join a busy shop. Work includes reading blueprints, cutting, forming, welding, assembling and finishing metal components and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, templates and work orders
- Set up and operate MIG/TIG/Stick welders, plasma cutters, grinders and other shop equipment
- Fit, weld, grind and assemble structural steel, stainless and aluminum parts
- Measure and layout parts to tight tolerances; perform quality checks
- Maintain safe, clean workspace and follow PPE and safety procedures
- Assist with material handling and fabrication tasks as needed
- 3+ years welding/fabrication experience (or equivalent)
- Proficient in MIG, Stick and TIG
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape, calipers, square)
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good teamwork
- Valid NY driver's license; forklift experience a plus
- Welding certification (AWS or other) preferred but not required
- Pay: $20-$25/hr DOE
- Overtime pay, paid holidays, vacation/sick leave
