Location: Clarksville, TN
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Welder with a strong background in MIG and TIG welding to join our team in Clarksville, TN. The ideal candidate will perform precision welding and fabrication on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes, ensuring high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes.
• Weld couplings and outlets onto carbon steel pipe.
• Assemble pipe sections through precision pipe-to-pipe welding.
• Complete specialty welding tasks on spool pieces, pipes, and related components.
• Inspect completed welds for defects and ensure proper alignment of fittings.
• Identify and report pipe defects, including bad seams and splits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns requiring repair.
• Complete required online training and documentation through Workday.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and computer skills.

Interview Process

• Candidates must complete an on-site weld test during the interview.
• Weld test and interview duration: approximately 2 hours.
• Candidates must bring their own welding hood and PPE for the weld test.
