Howdens core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling and have over a century of experiences in doing so.We are currently seeking an experienced Welder based at our Windsor CT location.What Will You Do Weld components in flat vertical or overhead positionsPerform TIG and MIG welding on a daily basisReviews blueprints work instructions and job specifications to determine appropriate materials tools and procedures needed to complete processesLayout position align and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly using straightedges combination squares calipers and rulersWeld separately or in combination using aluminum and stainless steelClamp hold tack-weld heat-bend grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for weldingPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety proceduresMaintain a clean and safe work areaYour Physical Work Environment Will Require Standing stooping bending. Able to lift up to 25lbs. Wear PPE which includes welding helmet.Your Experience Should Be... High school diploma or GED.5 plus years of welding experience. Must possess mechanical aptitudeCurrent and valid certification a plusAbility to work overtime as needed.Our Benefits Package...
