Key Responsibilities Perform welding operations using various techniques (e.g. MIG TIG Stick) to join metal components. Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and welding symbols to determine project specifications. Operate and maintain welding equipment tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Inspect finished welds for quality accuracy and adherence to specifications using appropriate measuring tools. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to design requirements. Grind cut and prepare metal surfaces for welding ensuring proper fit and finish. Adhere to all safety regulations company policies and quality standards during welding operations. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g. MIG TIG Stick) on various materials. Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols. AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent. Proven experience in a manufacturing or production welding environment. Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards. Capable of performing visual inspections of welds for quality and compliance. Bonus Qualifications Experience with automated or robotic welding equipment. Proficiency in metal fabrication including cutting grinding and fitting. Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection techniques. Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills for welding equipment. Additional safety certifications (e.g. OSHA 10/30) or experience leading safety initiatives.
