Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled SubArc Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and be comfortable working in a fab shop environment. This role requires precision attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. As a SAW SMAW and FCAW Welder you will play a critical role in fabricating and assembling tanks pressure vessels and bottles ensuring high-quality standards are met.DutiesPerform welding tasks using welding techniques on various materials.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.Utilize power tools and machinery effectively for cutting grinding and shaping metal components.Fabricate metal parts according to specifications ensuring accuracy and quality.Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently.Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.Experience with Subarc Fluxcore Mig Stick and Gouge 2 yrs min.Knowledge utilizing rollers over cranes forklift and antilog equipment.SkillsProficient in using rigging equipment for lifting heavy materials.Strong understanding of calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.Experience working in a fab shop with the ability to adapt to various conditions.Familiarity with machining processes related to metal fabrication.Competent in basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements.Excellent blueprint reading skills for interpreting technical drawings.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
