Full-time heavy MIG welder with experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Communication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees
- Must be able to work collaboratively alongside others
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good aptitude and manual dexterity
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including lifting 50 lbs. and walking/standing for extended time periods
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Responsibilities
- Ability to recognize and solve typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval
- Detailing structural steel-drilling/cutting holes and slots, coping, notching per engineering drawings
- Continuously improve the processes by working with the management team for more efficiency
- Analyzes drawings and specifications to plan welding operations
- Proficiently uses all tools related to the welding process.
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed
- Perform basic housekeeping to keep work area clean and safe
- Perform duties assigned
Experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 3 + years of welding heavy steel
- Welding Certification from a Vocational School or College
- 5 + years experience as a Mig welder
- 3 + years of overhead crane/rigging experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
- Must have excellent attendance
