Staffmark is seeking an experienced Welder to join a growing manufacturing team in Springville, AL. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, can read blueprints, and are committed to quality and safety, we want to hear from you!Pay: $20.78/hourSchedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMResponsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding proceduresSet up welding equipment and adjust settings per job requirementsPerform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel componentsInspect welds for quality and conformance to specificationsOperate grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication toolsMaintain welding equipment and perform routine safety checksFollow all safety protocols and wear required PPECollaborate with team members to meet production targetsKeep workstations clean and organizedQualifications:Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial settingProficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical instructionsSkilled in using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, weld gauges)Familiarity with different metals and appropriate welding methodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftHigh school diploma or GED preferred; welding certification or technical training a plusStrong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workWhy You'll Love This Job:We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
