Key Responsibilities Perform welding processes (e.g. MIG TIG Stick) to join metal components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols to determine proper welding techniques. Inspect finished welds for quality defects and adherence to engineering standards and codes. Operate maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and tools including grinders and cutting torches. Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts using various welding methods. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during welding operations. Grind deburr and finish welds to meet aesthetic and functional requirements. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing environment. AWS certification(s) in relevant welding processes (e.g. MIG TIG Stick). Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints schematics and welding symbols. Demonstrated ability to perform quality welds on various materials and thicknesses. Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced welding processes (e.g. TIG orbital welding) or exotic materials (e.g. stainless steel aluminum). Strong blueprint reading fitting and fabrication skills. Additional AWS certifications (e.g. D1.2 D1.7) beyond standard requirements. Demonstrated ability to perform quality checks and troubleshoot welding issues.
