The Student Wellbeing Office is a good first point of contact for students who want to discuss solutions to their wellbeing and mental health concerns or need resource coordination between on- and off-campus services. The office also provides psychoeducation across a variety of wellbeing topics and performs outreach to both undergraduate and graduate students at Rice.The Student Wellbeing Office is seeking a full-time Wellbeing Advisor. This position will provide in-person outreach programming in the areas of mental health awareness psychoeducation and skills training as well as individual case management for Rice students and consultations on mental health and administrative issues for faculty staff students and student family members. This position will include a key function of outreach focusing on events in the evenings when students are most active outside the classroom. On this culturally diverse campus it is important for the candidate to be experienced and/or trained in multicultural practice creative outreach strategies and to demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm.Workplace Requirements:This position is exclusively on-site requiring all duties to be performed in person at Rice University.
