Wheels Assembler at JM Family

The Wheels Assembler is responsible for assisting our Vehicle Processing Center in maintaining a high level of quality production of wheel assemblies on Toyota vehicles.Responsibilities:Install wheels and suspension upgrades on vehiclesComplete Torque certification including Atlas Copco useOperate electronic balancerPerform wheel breakdown/build up as needed.Successfully complete suspension/alignment certificationMeet and exceed quality standards while maintaining clean working areasQualifications:Valid drivers license required; clean Motor Vehicle Record ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred.Recent experience with automotive assembly or productionPrior wheels installation and/or suspension upgrades on vehicles is preferredProper use & understanding of torque wrenchesMust be quality minded with demonstrated willingness to work overtime as needed with limited supervisionExhibit good physical condition and ability to lift up to 90 lbs. as well as bend stoop twist & kneel in the scope of the jobAbility to utilize read and understand decimals on wheel balancing and breakdown machinesOperate impact tools and willing to wear required safety equipmentForklift experience preferredExcellent work and attendance record with demonstrated flexibility to work overtime and alternate assignments as needed.Some Saturday work may be required depending on workload.Overtime will be scheduled based on production needs.#LI-CD1#LI-OnsiteThis job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties responsibilities or aspects of the job described and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of JM Family.
