The Wholesale (Credit and Operations) Support Specialist is a member of the Wholesale (Credit and Operations) Support team that is responsible for managing all related Wholesale (Credit and Operations) systems for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services. This position requires subject matter expertise and business support for Wholesale (Credit and Operations) systems including configuration and functionality, as well as collaboration with business and IT stakeholders regarding the prioritization, development, testing and release of enhancements to Wholesale (Credit and Operations).
This position interacts with teams and stakeholders across MBFS, from Finance & Controlling to Business Operations, IT, Marketing and OGC, among others. The purpose of these interactions is to ensure the Wholesale (Credit and Operations) systems work effectively for the current and future purposes of the company, within the business and legal frameworks that it operates.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible as a primary business support and subject matter expert for Wholesale (Credit and Operations). Responsible for system functionality, including business rules, database querying, regulatory requirements, and configuration.
- Participate as SME in the development of corporate initiatives (Digital Transformation, etc.) as they relate to system data, functionality and end-user experience in the current and future environments
- Participate in enhancement planning, development and testing in Wholesale (Credit and Operations). Responsible for the development of documentation for system enhancements in Wholesale (Credit and Operations)
- Develop test strategies, plan resource requirements and conduct and supervise testing activities in support of projects and ongoing system release management
- Responsible for validating financial enhancements that have an established system or manual control in place for internal compliance testing purposes on a regular basis
Qualifications:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:
- Accounting
- Business - General
- Customer Service
- Finance
Education: High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:
- Accounting
- Business Administration
Additional Knowledge:
- 1 year of experience with Accounting or financial calculations preferred
- Automotive finance experience in the aforementioned areas preferred

Additional Skills:
- Any experience with Sopra Business Solutions and their products is a major plus. Specifically, experience with Sopra Financing Platform - Wholesale.
